API 7k Rotary Drilling Hose

API 7k rotary drilling hoses, also called kelly hoses or jumper hoses are used as flexible connection between mud pump and swivel for pumping mud at extra high pressure in oilfield drilling operation and exploration. They are welded or integral hammer union type connections with various end fittings available.

Letone is a leading manufacturer of API rotary drilling hoses. We are dedicated to providing high quality products to customers around the world.

Flexibility

Drilling rotary and vibrator hoses are designed as API 7K spec as the flexible connection between standpipe and swivel or pump and standpipe for pumping mud at extra high pressure in oil drilling and exploration work. Also called mud hose, cement hose and kelly hose, these hoses can be used with a wide range of end fittings.

The American Petroleum Institute’s publications programs and services catalog provides comprehensive listings of API standards, recommended practices, equipment specifications, technical documents, reports, and studies. The catalogue also contains information on repair welding, proof load test records, operation and maintenance manuals, and other important documentation.

Letone has been committed to producing rubber hose for 14 years, specializing in high-grade and high-end API 7k mud and cement hoses. It is an iconic enterprise in the field of China’s rubber hose industry, with 4 world-class manufacture bases and an annual production value exceeding 5 billion RMB. Its products have gained national level certification of ISO 9001:2008, TS 16949 and the API Q1 Quality System Certificate.

Corrosion Resistant

The API 7k hose is designed to withstand the harsh oilfield environment. It is constructed with a heavy duty Ultra Brasion cover to resist external damage from abrasion, corrosion, gouges, oil and weather. It is also fire-rated and meets the API standard SR6A.

The hoses are certified by the American Petroleum Institute to FSL 0 or higher and are suitable for use with petroleum-base hydraulic fluids. They are also resistant to acidification and ozone ageing, making them an ideal choice for oilfield applications.

In addition, the API 7k hose is designed to reduce assets, potential leak paths and non-productive time. It is available in a wide range of sizes, working pressures and connection types. It can be used for various operations including fracturing, blending and cementing. It can also be paired with our Simplified Frac Iron System to reduce connections, risk and maintenance. It is also compatible with most existing pump and manifold designs. The hose is made from high quality materials and is backed by an extensive warranty.

High Pressure

We manufacture, supply and export a wide range of API 7k high pressure drilling hoses that are available in different working pressures. Also known as mud hose or cement hose, these rotary and vibrator hoses are used to provide flexible connection between standpipe and swivel for pumping mud at high pressure in oil drilling and exploration.

They are made to withstand high operational pressures of up to 15,000psi without suffering damage or rupture. They are tested to a variety of specifications, including a four-hour pressure test at 700 bar and a material fatigue test.

These rotary and vibration hoses are available in lengths ranging from 5ft to 90ft. They can be supplied with various end fittings, including hammer unions, API threaded ends and butt-welded or integral forged unions. The hoses can be fitted with abrasion-resistant covers that are resistant to corrosion, cutting, gouging and weather. They are compatible with Parker ParLock skive type fittings. They are also resistant to hydrogen sulfide corrosion.

End Fittings

Rotary Drilling hose, Kelly hose, Cementing hose and Choke & Kill hose are used to convey high-pressure drilling fluids from one place to another. They can be supplied with many end fittings according to API standards. Most of these hoses are designed to operate under very high pumping pressures and have steel wire reinforcements. This thick reinforcement makes them able to withstand high working pressures. However, they should be handled and stored properly to avoid kicking or crushing which can substantially decrease their rated working pressure.

Manuli Hydraulics provides a wide range of API 7K rotary drilling hoses with varying working pressures. XtraFlow(tm) hoses feature a hard wall design to resist kicking and crushing and come with a selection of specially designed fitment termination ends. They also come with a heavy duty UltraBrasion cover to handle external damage from abrasion, corrosion, gouges and oil weathering. The hoses are available with API NPT threaded and hammer union connections, flanges and hubs.
