API 7k Oilfield Hoses

Applications

The high pressure rotary drilling hose is used as the flexible connection between mud pump and standpipe on oilfield rig for pumping mud under steady high pressure in the process of oilfield drilling operation and exploration. Also called kelly hose or rotary drilling line, the hose is made of special NBR tube, two layers of spiral steel wires and an abrasion resistant cover.

The fire-rated tensioner hose is used to convey flame retardant hydraulic fluid in the tensioner system on offshore oil and gas platforms to protect against the spread of fire. It is equipped with a stainless-steel armored cover and a woven wire mesh sleeve for additional fire protection and safety.

The 2" 10,000 psi w.p oilfield hose is designed for high pressure and industrial applications such as cement slurries, drilling mud, fuel line and high-pressure hydraulic fluid lines. It can withstand high internal pressure and multiple bends. It is supplied with a range of specialised quick couplings (MQS-BOP) and can be fire tested according to API 16D.
